Today I’m catching up on laundry and chores (story.of.my.life). I’m trying to get an endless amount of stuff done off my to-do list before I go in for gallbladder surgery next week. I may or may not be posting next week..but if you think about it pray for me. Mostly, pray for my hubby’s sanity as he takes on an invalid wife and 4 crazy kids next week. (He’s got this) AND pray for my kiddos…not being able to be held by mom for 2 weeks is going to be miserable for them (and me).
What are you up to this weekend?

WOW! Cole and I have been having many many conversations about this very thing. We want our house to be inclusive even in the chaos because we want to serve others and let them see us REAL, honest, and messy because LIFE IS MESSY.
I hear this lie often spread throughout Christian circles. I’m glad someone was bold enough to stand up to the lie and reveal the truth: Life is hard. God is bigger, but it’s still hard.

I posted this to my fb wall, it was THAT good. Us, SAHM or ANY parent in general needs grace. A WHOLE lot of it. Being a parent is by far the hardest thing I’ve ever endured -and negative comments NEVER help! 🙂
I’ve never included a video in my Saturday Suggestions, but this week I am. I think this couple portrays what it means to be a peacemaker and to LOVE when it is beyond them. What’s amazing to me is the astonishment of the news anchors. This reminds me what it looks like to live a “SET APART” life.
